The 39th Advanced Technology Award by Sankei Shimbun, Ltd.

The 'Advanced Technology Student Paper Award' was established in 1986 with the aim of nurturing originality and creativity among science and engineering students while inspiring their passion for research. Starting from the 16th edition, based on the belief that industry-academia-government collaboration and the development of young engineers are essential to building a 'nation based on scientific and technological innovation,' young corporate researchers and engineers were added as eligible candidates, and the name was changed to 'Advanced Technology Award.'" The Sankei Shimbun Award corresponds to the Excellence Award in the Working Professionals Division. As in previous years, the 39th award ceremony was grandly held on Wednesday, July 22, at the Meiji Memorial Hall in the presence of Her Imperial Highness Princess Takamado.
