The University of Tokyo and the Graduate School of Engineering accept exchange students from partner universities with whom they have established agreements or memoranda of understanding. Based on these agreements and memoranda, exchange students are exempt from tuition fees.

ESEP – Engineering Summer Education Program
- The School of Engineering at the University of Tokyo offers students from our partner universities the opportunity to participate in cutting‑edge scientific research projects within our world‑class laboratories for a period of 3 to 6 weeks. This program is open to both undergraduate and graduate students seeking hands‑on research experience in a leading academic environment.
