Young Researcher Encouragement Award

The Young Researcher Encouragement Award is presented to presenters of particularly outstanding and promising encouragement lectures delivered by young researchers at Type I Research Meetings hosted by the Network Systems Research Committee.

About awarded research

The title of my research is “5G Network Slicing Using Priority-Weighted Reinforcement Learning for SLA Isolation.” This study addresses the challenge in 5G communications that it is difficult to consistently guarantee the quality requirements of highly reliable communication services. The problem is tackled through communication resource control, and the effectiveness of the proposed approach is verified through simulation-based evaluations.

Your impression & future plan

I am honored to receive this award for my research. I hope that this work will contribute to the widespread adoption of highly reliable communication services, such as remote surgery and autonomous driving, and help address societal challenges. I will continue to devote myself to research that can contribute to society in the coming year as well.
