Lecture series for Junior and Senior High Schools: Yokohama Eiri Girls’ High School

On 28 November 2023, a lecture was held for the 1^st and 2^nd year students of Yokohama Eiri Girls’ High School.

It began with a warm atmosphere, as Dean Kato shared old stories from when he was a high school student, and there were many words of gratitude, including "I learned from the slides introducing the research being conducted that medicine and engineering are very close. I realized that I wanted to do research in engineering, and I felt relieved of the anxieties I had before", "I want to grow up like Dean Kato, who is always positive. An impression I had of UTokyo professors has changed", and "He looks so gentle; I would like to go to this UTokyo which offers such an excellent learning environment". There were also some enthusiastic questions from the parents who attended.
