Overview
The 1st Mechanism Synthesis Research Seminar - Designing Mechanisms to Promote User Participation: LEGO, Cities and Fashion" was hosted by Nishino Laboratory, Department of Technology Management for Innovation, Graduate School of Engineering, The University of Tokyo. In addition to academia, many people from industry attended the seminar; including online, more than 50 people participated. After a research report on the analysis of the user-participation mechanism of LEGO CUUSOO/LEGO IDEAS as one of the results of the laboratory's research to date, two experts from different academic fields gave presentations as discussants on the contents of the report, and a lively discussion ensued.
We plan to continue to hold the Mechanism Synthesis Research Seminar about once every six months in the future.
