The Eighth Cambridge – UTokyo Joint Symposium 2023

The University of Tokyo and the University of Cambridge have hosted a joint symposium every year since the Strategic Partnership Agreement was signed in March 2015. This year, the Eighth Joint Symposium will be held onsite at Cambridge.

UTokyo-Cambridge Voices, started in 2020, is a series of conversations held between researchers of the University of Tokyo and the University of Cambridge regarding a specific aspect of their research. This dialogue series is hosted by the two institutions under the framework of the “Strategic Partnership” and explores research from a range of academic disciplines.

This year’s symposium is titled “Navigating Contemporary Global Challenges” and three sessions: 1) Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion, 2) Sustainability and Engineering, 3) AI Trends, Opportunities and Threats will be held parallelly. UTokyo-Cambridge Voices research sessions will also be held concurrently.
