Young Researcher Poster Award

Young Researcher Poster Award will be given in principle to a regular member or student member under 35 years of age at the time of presentation who has made a particularly outstanding presentation at the poster session of the spring or fall meeting organized by The Mining and Materials Processing Institute of Japan (MMIJ).

About awarded research

We have developed a technology to fix carbon dioxide as a carbonate mineral using waste ore as a reactant. In the presentation, parameters affecting the rate of carbon dioxide fixation were evaluated and factors inhibiting the reaction were discussed.

Your impression & future plan

I am very honored to receive this award. I would like to thank all the professors and members of my laboratory for their guidance, as well as my co-authors. I will continue my research under the guidance of Professor Chiharu Tokoro and Associate Professor Yutaro Takaya.
