Biomedical Engineering Symposium: Poster Award
This symposium aims to share the latest research findings in the field of biomedical engineering and to foster new collaborative research by promoting interaction, especially among young researchers and those from different fields. Awards are presented to recognize outstanding research and studies with significant potential for future development.

About awarded research

Presentation Title: Development of a Stretchable Nanomesh Electrode-Integrated Scaffold Material for Cardiac Tissue Integration

Abstract: In this research, we developed a scaffold material integrated with nanomesh electrodes that allows cardiomyocytes to intertwine three-dimensionally within it, enabling true integration between the tissue and the device. We successfully overcame the key challenge of measurement instability in dynamic environments and succeeded in culturing cardiomyocytes on the device.
