On 11th June 2024, Putri Mustika Widartiningsih (D3), Sakai Lab., Department of Nuclear Engineering and Management, recieved Outstanding Poster Presentation Award at the International Powder and Nanotechnology Forum 2024.
International Powder and Nanotechnology Forum 2024 / Outstanding Poster Presentation Award
This award is given to students who have made outstanding poster presentation at the International Powder and Nanotechnology Forum 2024.
About awarded research
Conducting numerical simulations of large-scale particulate systems incorporating non-spherical shapes is highly valuable for industries. However, it has been recognized to be extremely challenging, primarily due to the immense computational demands involved. In our study, we propose a novel mathematical model to overcome this obstacle, facilitating efficient execution of such simulations. This innovative approach holds promise for resolving powder-related issues across diverse industries.
