Lecture series for Junior and Senior High Schools: Akita Prefectural Yokote Senior High School

On 11 March 2024, a lecture was held at Akita Prefectural Yokote Senior High School.

After the lecture, there were many questions and feedback from the participating students who listened to Dean Kato talk about his research with passion, such as "It was impressive to listen to his talk about his field work that he did in Australia so happily; I would also like to find research that excites me" and "I could learn that research in engineering is so useful in society; it was really fulfilling to learn in concrete terms, especially how engineering research is used in the medical field". It was a very valuable opportunity for the participating students, as well as their parents and teachers, to discover and realise new things about engineering.
