Report on visit of students from Saitama Prefectural Tokorozawa Kita High School

On 23 August 2023, a campus tour of the Faculty of Engineering was held for the science and mathematics students of Tokorozawa Kita High School.

After Professor Kato’s lecture, they visited the Museum of Mineral Resources Frontier (MINERAFRONT). It was impressive to see many students so touched by the samples of rare minerals and exhibits.

We received words of gratitude from the participants, including one female student who was unsure which faculty to choose: " I became so interested in the Faculty of Engineering because I was introduced to studies and research that I had never known before. I will study hard".
