About awarded research
When a gas explosion occurs, two types of instabilities cause acceleration of flame propagation, and the complex effects of these instabilities make it difficult to predict the propagation speed, pressure, and other effects. In this study, I conducted experiments using several flammable gases that meet specific conditions and compared them to evaluate their effects on instability. The results of this research are expected to contribute to more accurate prediction and evaluation of the impact of gas explosions.

I am very honored to receive the Student Encouragement Award. I would like to thank Prof. Dobashi, Assoc. Prof. Mogi, and the members of my laboratory for their support during my research. I would like to further analyze and organize my research and work on writing a paper in the future.
