Report on visit of students from Tokyo Metropolitan Hibiya High School

On 18 July 2023, four second- and third-year students from Tokyo Metropolitan Hibiya High School came to visit Dean Kato. They listened as he explained the latest research being carried out by the faculty and the future of engineering. We received a lot of feedback, such as "I want to do research in engineering to improve society in the future", "Professor Kato’s story has expanded my career options for the future", and "I found it fascinating to look at the Earth’s history from a fundamental perspective and how this research could have a big impact on the future of humanity".
