Shogo Kuriyama in the Department of Chemistry and Biotechnology, won a GSC Poster Award in 3rd JACI/GSC Symposium.
<about awarded research>
Development of the nitrogen fixation under mild reaction conditions is one of the most
important topics in chemistry. Recently, we have developed the catalytic formation of ammonia from molecular dinitrogen by using dinitrogen-bridged dimolybdenum-dinitrogen complex bearing PNP-type pincer ligands. We also succeeded in developing more active catalyst.
It is my great honor to receive the award. I really thanks to Associate Professor Yoshiaki Nishibayashi and all members of Nishibayashi laboratory for kind instructions of my research.
