On 18th April 2019, Assistant Professor Akane Uemichi (at that time), Ippei Kanetsuki (M2 at that time), Professor Shigehiko Kaneko (at that time), Department of Mechanical Engineering, received JSME Medal for Outstanding Paper, The Japan Society of Mechanical Engineers.
＜About awarded research ＞
We observed the shift phenomena of the oscillating frequencies in hydrogen-rich combustion cases and examined the method to calculate the possible oscillating frequencies by using acoustic analysis which apply acoustic impedance as the acoustic boundary conditions.

＜Comments & future plan＞
We are honored to receive such a historical award. We will continue to study combustion oscillation of hydrogen-rich combustion.
