<About awarded research>
The protein-pigment complex LHCII (light harvesting complex II) has a function of collecting light energy and transferring it to photosynthetic reaction centers efficiently by excitation energy transfer among chlorophyll pigments arranged in the complex. In my research, I suggested probable internal or external pathways of energy transfer in LHCII by using theoretical methods.
