Collaborative Research
This refers to research conducted on common issues by researchers from private companies and faculty members of the university, where both parties engage in the research on an equal footing.
Procedures for Collaborative Research
The typical form of collaborative research involves accepting research funds or researchers and carrying out the research at the university. However, other forms, such as business trips for university faculty members or distributed collaborative research conducted at respective facilities, are also possible.

Note: The research fee for sending a collaborative researcher to the university is 550,000 yen per year. For periods shorter than a year, the fee may be 275,000 yen for less than six months. Please consult with the department receiving the researcher.
