On 18th December 2015, Mr. Tan Modong, Department of chemistry and Biotechnology, wins a Student Poster Award for PACIFICHEM2015, Bio/chemical Approaches for Single Cell Biosensing Technologies.

The Ligand-dependent localization change of the GPCR is strongly associated with its activity regulation and it is important to analyze the mechanisms in drug discovery. In this study, we utilized the Sortase A labeling technique to visualize proton-sensing GPCR G2A, expressed on the cell surface. We established the method for parallel analysis of the pH-dependent localization change and the kinetics of multiple cells on the single-cell array.

I am very honored to receive this award.
I would like to thank to Prof. Teruyuki Nagamune and all the members in our lab and collaborators for all of their support .
