Satoshi Terayama (B4), Department of System Innovation, received "Award for excellence" at The 12th Student Research Presentation Meeting of the Atomic Energy Society of Japan

On 8th March 2019, Satoshi Terayama (B4) , Department of System Innovation, received "Award for excellence" at The 12th Student Research Presentation Meeting of the Atomic Energy Society of Japan.

This is a small conference by students in the field of nuclear energy and radiation at a university in the Kanto and Koetsu area. Totaly 61 research presentations were made in fiscal 2020. The "Award for excellence" is awarded to one graduate student and one university student.

 

 

<About awarded research>
Research Theme: Early abnormality detection of dynamic equipment using regression-type neural network
Using the Long short-term memory (LSTM) which is a kind of deep learning, he succeeded to detect earlier signs of  abnormality of equipment by analyzing the monitoring time-series data using the Long short-term memory (LSTM) which is a kind of deep learning.
