On 15th Dec 2016, Mr. Takumi Suzuki , Department of Applied Chemistry, wins a Excellent Poster Award in the CSJ Poster Presentation Award 2016.

The protein-pigment complex LHCII (light harvesting complex II) has a function of collecting light energy and transferring it to photosynthetic reaction centers efficiently by excitation energy transfer among chlorophyll pigments arranged in the complex. In my research, I suggested probable internal or external pathways of energy transfer in LHCII by using theoretical methods.

I would like to thank for prof. Ishikita, lecturer Saito and all members of Ishikita lab for a lot of supports.I want to work harder for scientific research.
