Certificate of the Judge's Award, DCASE 2026 Challenge Task 6
DCASE 2026 Challenge Task 6 Judge's Award
The DCASE Challenge is an international research competition focused on acoustic scene and event understanding. The Judge's Award was presented for our contribution to Task 6, which addresses audio moment retrieval from long recordings.
About awarded research
This research addresses Audio Moment Retrieval, the task of locating audio segments corresponding to natural-language queries. We proposed a time-compression approach to overcome the input-duration limitations of large audio language models. Our method demonstrated the effectiveness of time compression for long-form audio understanding.
Your impression & future plan
