Pulse shaping is a fundamental process in communications. We proposed the recursive probability mass function method, which can compute the probability distribution of a pulse-shaped complex signal in polynomial time. We applied the proposed method to signals used in satellite communications and demonstrated the usefulness of
visualizing and analyzing the probability distribution of signals on the complex plane.

Your impression & future plan
I am very honored to receive this prestigious award and grateful to the many people who supported this research. I will make every effort to contribute to the further development of electrical engineering.
