Title : Epitaxially stabilized single-crystalline pyrochlore Bi2Rh2O7 thin films by modulating interface

Abstract : We present the electrical detection of emergent magnetotransport phenomena originating from the non-coplanar spin structure and its transition in the prototypical spin ice insulator Dy2Ti2O7 by constructing a coherent heterointerface with a non-magnetic metal Bi2Rh2O7. We observe a sign inversion in the anomalous Hall resistivity, reflecting the sign inversion of the emergent field triggered by the spin flop transition in Dy2Ti2O7. This observation suggests that the magnetic proximity effect not only induces the anomalous Hall effect proportional to magnetization but also promotes the topological Hall effect through the “penetration” of the emergent field.

Your impression & future plan

I am very honored to receive the impressive award. I sincerely thank Prof. Masashi Kawasaki and Dr. Takahiro Fujita for providing me with excellent supervision and a research environment. I will keep doing my best.
