Courtesy visit to Mr. Atsushi Horiba, Chairman and Group CEO of HORIBA, Ltd., site visits to HORIBA BIWAKO E-HARBOR, and new headquarters of HORIBA Techno Service Co., Ltd.

On 29 June 2023, Dean Kato paid a courtesy call to Mr. Atsushi Horiba, Chairman and Group CEO, at HORIBA BIWAKO E-HARBOR.  Associate Professor Keisuke Nagato (Dept. of Mechanical Engineering) briefed him on the progress of the social cooperation program entitled "Environmentally Friendly Energy Systems", which was launched on 1 April 2022, and Dean Kato conveyed his gratitude for the establishment of the program.  He then visited the "HORIBA BIWAKO E-HARBOR" and "E-LAB", a development testing facility for automobiles.  Dean Kato also visited the new headquarters of HORIBA Techno Service Co., Ltd. He felt the advanced technology and gained a lot of insight into the comfortable working environment.
