Mr. William D. Magwood has assumed major posts in the nuclear field including Director of Nuclear Energy at the US Department of Energy (DOE) and OECD/NEA Steering Committee chairperson.
He was appointed to commissioner of the US Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) in 2010 and has taken up his duties as the new OECD/NEA Director-General since September 2014.
