On Nov.1st, 2nd & 4th, the Japanese Language Class at the School of Engineering visited the chrysanthemum festival in yushima shrine.
Chrysanthemum, Japanese representative flower in autumn, there are many kinds of chrysanthemums and people enjoyed them from early 17th century in Japan.
About 2000 stocks of various chrysanthemums made with the utmost care are exhibited at Yushima shrine.
Students enjoyed not only various kinds of chrysanthemums blooming, but also EMA (pictorial offering) and OMIKUJI (written fortune) in clear skies of autumn.
