Dean’s Recent News

On April 5, 2018, Prof. Nancy F. Cott, the Jonathan Trumbull Professor of American Hisotry, from Harvard University visited Prof. Tatsuya Okubo, Dean of School of Engineering.

Prof. Cott is a leading gender historian and teaches on history of sexuality and gender, and 20th century U.S. history at Harvard University. She’s the first Carl and Lily Pforzheimer Foundation Director of the Schlesinger Library at the Radcliffe Institute, She’s also one of the founders of the Women’s Studies Program in Yale University where she taught for 25 years prior to joining Harvard University.
This time, she was invited as a keynote speaker for the School of Engineering Library event “Gender and Libraries – Women’s History Collections at Harvard University” held on April 5, 2018.
