Continuous health-monitoring with ultraflexible on-skin sensors

Abstract

Skin is an interface between animal’s brain and the external world. To mimic the functionality of biological skin, it is essential to incorporate sensitive sensors that can flex and even stretch without destroying their electronic performance. This talk will present our progress in developing electronic-skin using flexible materials and sensor devices. Such a bionic skin could be used to monitor medical conditions or to provide more sensitive and lifelike prosthetics.
