Why UTokyo, School of Engineering?

I have met with many Japanese professors at Vietnam Japan University and I was deeply impressed by the professional working style and hard work attitude. In light of aforesaid experiences, I really want to study in the Ph.D. program in Japan.

What do you like most of the school?

The department is composed of respected professionals in the field and has a good reputation for generating brilliant engineers. Students are constantly encouraged to raise questions and express their thoughts. I’m impressed with the Japanese academic working style, well-organized and meticulous. The laboratory is advanced equipped, making it practical for research and study. All these make me feel motivated day by day.

Message for prospective students/researchers

I was anxious when studying overseas for the first time but then had enthusiastic support from instructors and other students. The Department of Urban Engineering is the ideal place for overseas students who wish to pursue urban planning and environmental engineering because it offers top-notch instruction in the subjects.
