58th Annual meeting of International Microwave Power Institute Best Poster Award
This award is given to those who have presented outstanding research at the 58th Annual meeting of the International Microwave Power Institute.
About awarded research
"Boosting Reverse Water Gas Shift Reaction over Microwave-excited Metal Cations in Zeolite Nanocavity"
Selective heating of metal cations in zeolites by microwave irradiation was studied in detail. High-energy X-ray total scattering measurements at Spring8 (synchrotron radiation facility) revealed that metal cations form a unique high-temperature field under microwave irradiation. This selective heating of only metal cations in zeolite micropores can dramatically enhance catalytic reactions by directly exciting the catalytic active sites.
Your impression & future plan
I would like to thank Professor Kazuhiro Takanabe, Lecturer Fuminao Kishimoto and other members for their guidance in this presentation and in my research activities.
I feel very honored to receive the well-deserved award at this international conference.
Encouraged by this award, I will continue my research in the future.
