<About awarded research>
Kazunobu Sumiya, Takuya Sasatani, Yuki Nishizawa, Kenji Tsushio, Yoshiaki Narusue, and Yoshihiro Kawahara, “Alvus: A Reconfigurable 2-D Wireless Charging System,” PACM on Interactive, Mobile, Wearable and Ubiquitous Technologies (ACM IMWUT), Vol. 3, No. 2, Article No. 68, June 2019.
This paper presents a reconfigurable wireless charging system that enables the construction of wireless charging surfaces by simply laying ready-made modules. Our system can retrofit everyday surfaces (desks, shelves, floor, etc.) into wireless charging surfaces in an instant and interactive manner.
