Web Application Process
1. Prepare what you need for your application
Please check the Guidelines for Applicants and prepare what you need for your application.
This may include certificates such as transcripts; face photo data; and proof of payment of your examination fee (See step 3).
Please refer to the Guide to Entrance Examinations for your chosen department for detailed instructions.

Before applying, review carefully the contents of the "Guidelines for Applicants", the "Guide to Entrance Examinations" and the website for the department of your choice.
A face photo must be uploaded to the WEB Application System.
This photo will be used for identity verification on the day of the examination and for your Student ID Card upon admission.
Please ensure the photo adheres to the conditions specified below.
The photo must be clear and taken within three months before application, featuring:
Upper body, Uncovered head, Facing front, Plain/Monochrome background
- The entire head should be within the frame of the photo.
- Both eyes should be clearly visible and not obscured by hair, etc.
- The expression should be neutral, without visible teeth or a wide smile.
- No poses such as peace signs or wearing earphones.
- The photo should not be tilted (photos taken at an angle are not acceptable).
2. Enter the necessary information into the WEB Application System to create your application form

- Master's Program (Application Schedule B) Admission Application Form
- Doctoral Program (Application Schedule B) Admission Application Form
- Application forms submitted by post or email will not be accepted.
3. Pay your examination fee
The examination fee can be paid by either bank transfer or online payment via E-shiharai.net:-
Bank Transfer:Print the Transfer Application Form from the WEB Application System and make the payment at a bank counter.

Refer to the How to make a Payment of Examination Fee (For Overseas Applicants) or How to make a Payment of Examination Fee (For Domestic Applicants) and pay your examination fee as instructed.

Mapster's Program and Doctoral Program (Application Schedule B): From Nov. 21 until Dec. 4, 2025 (JST)
The examination fee is waived for the applicants listed below. Please be careful not to make any unnecessary payments.
- Applicants for the Doctoral Program commencing in October 2025 who are expected to obtain a Master's degree or Professional degree from this university in September 2025.
- Applicants for the Doctoral Program commencing in April 2026 who are expected to obtain a Master's or Professional degree from this university in March 2026.
- International students holding a Japanese Government (MEXT) Scholarship.
4. Upload all the necessary documents and finalize application on the Web Application System
ATTENTION:
Completion of the application form alone is insufficient; the application will not be considered complete unless the "confirmation" (on "My Page") is finalized by the designated deadline.
Please refer to the explanations on "My Page" for instructions regarding the "confirmation" process and other details.
WEB Application System : My Page (Login access will be enabled upon creation of the application form in step 2.)
Application Confirmation Deadline: 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 4, 2025 (JST)
During the application period, log in to My Page to upload the required documents and click "Confirm" to confirm your application by the application deadline.
When your application has been successfully confirmed, "Application Confirmed" will be displayed on "Status of Your Application", and you will receive a confirmation notice at your registered email address. Please make sure that you have received this confirmation email.
Please note that you cannot confirm your application if all required documents have not been uploaded or if the application deadline has passed.
You can still modify your application, change submitted documents or cancel your application until the application deadline, even after confirming your application.
Multiple registrations are prohibited. In case you have registered more than one application and obtained more than one receipt number, cancel all except for the one you will use for your application on My Page.
- No documents need to be submitted by postal mail or email in addition to the online upload.
- To prevent any inconvenience caused by unexpected system issues, applicants are advised to complete the document upload and application confirmation as soon as possible.
〇Acceptable file formats for electronic submissions
While scanned image files are recommended, we will also accept photo files taken with a PC or smartphone camera as long as the content is clear and readable. Acceptable file formats include PDF, JPEG, PNG, BMP, and GIF.
