September 19, 2018, Symposium celebrating the 160th Anniversary of diplomatic relations between France and Japan “Exploring space together: Astronauts’ point of view”

Symposium entitled “Exploring space together : Astronauts’ point of view” celebrating the 160th anniversary of diplomatic relations between France and Japan was held on the occasion Astronaut Thomas Pesquet came to Japan. After the mission report of Astronaut Thomas and Astronaut Norishige Knai, Astronaut Soichi Noguchi presented his third mission planned. In the second part, a panel discussion for the future was help and finally, Astronaut Soichi Noguchi was received the flag of flight memorabilia from Dean Tatsuya Okubo. At this symposium, former JAXA Astronaut Naoko Yamazaki and Astronaut Takuya Ohnishi also participated. They are from the Faculty of Engineering as well as Astronaut Noguchi.
