Japanese Language Class of the School of Engineering 　” ikebana demonstration ”

On November 2nd, the JLCse hosted an ikebana demonstration by the Headmaster of the Ichiyo School of ikebana.　

Mr. Kasuya, the headmaster, arranged four forms of flowers (upright form , slanting form, flat form & hanging form) and one taisaku (large-scale ikebana)

It was fascinating to see him create a dynamic flower world with various kinds of plants.

Through this demonstration, students were able to experience ikebana as part of Japanese culture.

We truly appreciate all the work and assistance provided by Mr. Kasuya and members from the Ichiyo School of Ikebana.
