Research Summary
Most of the energy obtained from natural resources is wasted as heat, and it is important to develop technologies to reuse this waste heat by converting or storing it into other forms of energy (e.g., electricity) for the realization of a sustainable society. Our group aims to contribute to the effective use of thermal energy by designing, fabricating, and evaluating materials and devices from a multi-scale perspective, from molecules to continuum. We are also studying interfacial fluid phenomena and polymer composites using the same approach.
