Research and education in engineering has expanded with the times to cover an ever broadening range of fields. Environmental and energy issues cannot be resolved within a single academic field. The number of social issues requiring cooperation among multiple disciplines has increased. The Faculty of Engineering, charged with trailblazing into the future to solve these problems, consists of departments each of which has a unique point of view and approach to research and education.
