2025年5月28日、電気系工学専攻 山下-Set 研究室 戴 茂林さん（D3）がSPIE（国際光工学会） Scholarshipを受賞されました。

 

SPIE（国際光工学会） Scholarship

SPIE（国際光工学会）は、光学・フォトニクスおよび関連分野において将来的な貢献が期待される優秀な学生会員74名に対し、合計32万3千ドルの奨学金を授与しました。電気系工学専攻博士課程に在籍する戴 茂林さん（指導教員：山下 真司 教授）は、その中の1名として「Laser Technology, Engineering and Applications Scholarship」を受賞されました。

 

受賞された研究内容・活動について

戴さんは、高利得ファイバおよび新しい共振器設計を活用した、コンパクトかつ安定性の高いフェムト秒ファイバレーザの開発に取り組んでいます。これらの成果は、分光・計測・光通信などの応用に貢献することが期待されています。また研究活動に加えて、SPIEをはじめとする国際学会において積極的に発表・議論を行い、光学・フォトニクス分野の研究コミュニティへの貢献にも尽力しています。

 

今後の抱負・感想

このような素晴らしい賞をいただき、大変光栄に思います。SPIEに心より感謝申し上げます。また、日頃よりご指導くださっている山下教授とセット特任教授のご支援がなければ、この受賞は成し得ませんでした。今後もレーザ研究に精進し、独創的でインパクトのある成果を発信するとともに、研究コミュニティへの貢献を続けてまいります。
