The award recognizes Professor Kuroda as a top contributing author with more than 40 publications in the 70-year history of ISSCC.

About awarded research
Established in 1954, the International Solid-State Circuits Conference (ISSCC) has evolved into the world’s foremost forum for the presentation of the latest semiconductor technology and products with about 4000 attendants annually, such that it is generally considered the Olympics of the semiconductor industry. Marking its 70th anniversary this year, it selected Professor Kuroda as one of its top researchers with more than 40 publications to date.
