<About awarded research>
It is necessary to visualize the environmental situation and the teleoperated construction machine to operator in unmanned construction.
We are working on the image synthesis system that generates the image as if looks taken by external camera in arbitrary viewpoint from on-board laser radar data and camera images.
Calibration of the laser radar and the fisheye camera is important for visibility.
New calibration method was propeosed which estimates the pose of laser radar and fisheye cameras for the visualization system.
Calibration of the laser radar and the fisheye camera can be performed with a single acquisition of data, using the shape data of the robot and multiple planes installed in the environment.
