Asian Deans’ Forum: Rising Stars Women in Engineering Workshop 2019

 

The Asian Deans’ Forum (ADF) is composed of representatives from engineering schools of six leading Asian universities: Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, National Taiwan University, National University of Singapore, Seoul National University, Tsinghua University, and The University of Tokyo. Member universities meet periodically to share experiences and approaches to the development of engineering knowledge with the aim of leading in the field for the 21st century.

Asian Deans’ Forum 2019 – The Rising Stars Women in Engineering Workshop will be held at Seoul National University (SNU) in Seoul, Korea on October 24-27, 2019 under the framework of the ADF.

Organized by Asia’s top engineering schools, this second edition of the workshop aims to bring together young female professionals in engineering disciplines from around the world, including scholars, researchers and engineers interested in exploring and advancing careers in academia, for scientific and career-oriented discussions relevant to the development of women academic leaders in Asia.

Insightful plenary and keynote lectures, panel discussions and mentoring sessions will offer participants a glimpse into an academic career in top Asian universities.
