On 12th November 2015, Mr. Naoto Kanda,Department of Chemistry and Biotechnology, wins a CSJ Poster Presentation Award 2015 for Excellent Research.

Receptor tyrosine kinases regulate the cellular functions (e.g. proliferation, differentiation). In this research, we designed the artificial ligands that contained multiple affinity molecules attached to the DNA nanostructures and evaluated their potential for the activation of receptors.

It is a great honor and privilege to receive this award. I would like to express my deepest gratitude to Prof. Shinsuke Sando, Assistant Prof. Ryosuke Ueki, and our lab members for all their support and fruitful discussion.
