Engineering education development in Sweden, a case description of KTH （Tuesday, August 16, 2016）

KTH has taking a unique step in engineering education development by forming a specific school devoted to education and communication in engineering sciences. This school was started in 2011, and Dr. Lena Gumaelius will as the vice dean of this school tell about the driving forces behind and the aim for this school, which includes how KTH invest in pre-engineering education and engineering education.

The presentation will also include some examples of how the department of Learning at this school work with educational development and how the whole university take on the task to attract more female students to engineering education.
