Research summary

Recent advances in semiconductor technology have enabled wearable devices to monitor biological information and display it on smartphones and tablet devices. My group is conducting research on novel electronics that can be directly attached to the skin using new materials such as organic semiconductors and nanocarbons as next-generation wearable devices. Since it can greatly reduce the discomfort and burden when worn, it is expected to be applied to a wide range of fields such as medical and healthcare, welfare and nursing, and sports.
