On 18th June 2022, Professor Akira Hirose, Department of Electrical Engineering and Information Systems / Bioengineering, received IEEE GRSS Education Award.

 

 

IEEE GRSS Education Award

To Recognize Outstanding Educational Contributions to Geoscience and Remote Sensing, one of the three major awards in the society.

 

**About awarded research**

This award is to recognize his outstanding educational contributions in raising many excellent researchers as well as encouragement for students and young researchers through tutorial lectures and other activities in the field.
