 A social gathering of retired professors of the Faculty of Engineering (10 October, 2013)

A social gathering of retired professors was held at the exhibition room of the building #2 on Thursday, 10 October. 53 retired professors, a former secretary‐general, Yoshihisa Yuhara, and 42 professors on the active list were present at the gathering.  At 6:00 pm, Prof. Kazuro Kageyama gave an opening address and Prof. Noboru Harata, the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, gave a speech of welcome. Prof. Harata introduced present states of the Faculty and the University. Prof. Yoshichika Uchida, a professor emeritus of architecture, proposed a toast.  

Participants enjoyed meals, drinks, and talk. The conversation took a lively turn for more than one hour. Prof. Kageyama gave a closing address and Prof. Tsutomu Suzuki declared the gathering closed at 7:30 pm.
