On 26th June 2018, Akinobu Sendo (D1), Department of Chemistry and Biotechnology, won the Poster presentation award at the 18th Protein Science Society Japan.

Aiming at the development of resistance-free antimicrobe agent against Streptococcus pyogenes, we performed a drug screening to find out some candidate compounds that had a potential to block the infection to a host.
