Target Audience: Families of students from the University of Tokyo’s Faculty of Engineering and Graduate School of Engineering (up to 2 family members)
Content:
- 60-minute lecture
- Self-guided campus tour
Program:
- "What is Engineering Aiming For?" (Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Dean of the Graduate School of Engineering, Professor Yasuo Kato)
- Career Paths at the Graduate School of Engineering, University of Tokyo
- "Studying Engineering at the University of Tokyo" (2 current PhD students)
- "Demand for PhD Talent" (Director of Academic Strategy Office, Professor Tetsuya Ishida)
- Department and Program Visits (Brochure with venue and meeting point details available at registration)
Number of Participants: 1200 people (Registration via the website; if the number exceeds capacity, a lottery will be held)
Lecture Schedule:
- Registration: 12:30 PM – 1:15 PM
- Lecture: 1:20 PM – 2:20 PM
- Department/Program Tours: 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM
