Research summary
Most of the properties of materials around us, such as electrical conductivity and magnetism, are governed by electrons moving inside. The aim of our research is to clarify the nature of electrons strongly interacting with each other, by theoretical approaches based on quantum mechanics and statistical physics, especially, large-scale numerical simulations. Our goal is to open up a new direction of quantum material physics by systematic and comprehensive understanding of the diverse phenomena, materials design, and predictions of new quantum properties.
