Quantum computers utilize quantum mechanics as a basic principle in computation and are expected to be able to outperform classical computers in various tasks. The developments of quantum computers have been accelerating all around the world. In this work, we develop a new type of optical quantum computer. Optical quantum computers are one of the most promising platforms with the possibility of going up to 1 THz clock frequency, computation at room temperature, compatibility with telecommunication network, and scalability thanks to multiplexing techniques. Our system includes a cloud-based system, allowing the user to access the quantum computer via internet. This is an important milestone in development of quantum computing platform and use cases, and will be a foundation toward quantum industry in Japan.
