The first Japanese team to advance the Round 3 at the Airbus global student idea competition, Fly Your Ideas 2015

 

The Airbus Fly Your Ideas, a global student competition organized by Airbus, an aircraft manufacture company, in partnership with UNESCO, announced five teams over 518 teams from 94 countries advanced to the final round.

Todai team of Mr. Miyatani (Master 2nd year of Aeronautics and Astronautics), Mr. Nakamura, Mr. Uenishi and Mr. Vinayavekhin (Bachelor 4th year of System Innovation) of our department and Mr. Kimura (Master 2nd year of Socio-cultural Environmental Studies) of Frontier Science are the one and the first Japanese team ever to the Final Round. The team and the academic mentor Dr. Nakamura (Project Assistant Professor at the Center for Aviation Innovation Research) now prepare for the Final held from 25 to 28 May in Hamburg.
